Northvane Talent is a recruitment agency. To find people jobs we have to hold some personal data; this notice explains what, why, for how long, and how to make us delete it.

What we hold about candidates

Your CV, contact details and the notes from our conversations.
The roles we discussed with you and where we introduced you, always with your consent.
Interview feedback from clients, which we share with you.

What we hold about clients

Names, roles and contact details of the people we work with, and the briefs, fees and invoices for each search.

Why, and on what basis

We process candidate data to find you suitable roles (your consent, and our legitimate interest in recruitment). We process client data to deliver the service you asked for (contract) and to keep financial records (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

Clients, only for a role you agreed to be put forward for.
Our recruitment software and email providers, under data processing agreements.
Nobody else. We do not sell data and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Candidate data is deleted two years after our last contact, unless you ask us to keep it. Financial records are kept for six years, as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, restrict it or have it deleted, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Write to hello@northvane.co and we answer within a month.
